Through the Representative Payee Program, KHDS is dedicated to empowering clients to maintain a basic standard of living by ensuring that their Social Security Disability benefits are used for the clients' basic needs. KHDS is authorized to act only on matters relating to the beneficiary's Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, or Medicare claims.
The Representative Payee Program began in 1995 in collaboration with the Social Security Administration to provide payee services to individuals who were disabled as a result of AODA issues. |
