YMCA Supportive Housing

Photo: YMCA Transitional Housing The Kenosha YMCA Supportive Housing Program began in 1999, with a grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The program offers up to 18 months of assistance to 9 homeless single adults by providing them with housing at the Kenosha YMCA (formerly Kenosha Youth Foundation) and additional supportive services. Many of our referrals come from programs that provide short-term temporary services to the homeless and see a need for longer-term support to aid in the success of our clients. The other component of the program is providing monitoring and supervision to the residence floors.
