Children's Long Term Support Waiver (CLTS)

Built for children & families.

The Children's Long Term Support Program provides support to children who are living at home or in the community who have substantial limitations in multiple daily activities as a result of one or more of the following disabilities:

  • Development Disabilities
  • Severe emotional disturbances
  • Physical disabilities
  • Combination of the above

Support from the CLTS Program can be used to support services that are based on the individual need of the child. The goal is to always help maintain the child in their home or community environment. These are based on an individualized assessment of the child's strengths and needs -- with input and consultation of the child's family.

Families may apply for this program and other children's long-term care through Kenosha County's Families First Program through a single application process.

To enroll in CLTS you must contact the Eligibility Specialist at Kenosha County at (262) 605-6599.
