Building stability through compassionate care

The KARE Center is a 16-bed community based residential facility that is accessed through crisis intervention as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization.

The KARE Center is the only social detox facility in Kenosha. Staff in the home are well-trained and supported to help with suicide prevention, symptom management, and coping skills. They also assist those needing detox services from alcohol or other substances.

People experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis can come to the KARE Center to help stabilize their immediate crisis. While at the KARE Center, residents can contact their psychiatrist or a psychiatrist through Sunrise Clinical Services, a program through KHDS.
