Honors & Tributes

A commemorative gift is a way to honor or celebrate a person or occasion. Commemorative gifts can be made for a friend or a special event such as an anniversary, birthday, or retirement. When making a commemorative gift, please provide the name of the person(s) being honored, as well as an address at which they can be reached. A special card will be sent to the honoree or the honoree’s family at your request.

Memorial gifts are a special way to remember a friend or loved one who has passed away. By supporting KHDS, these gifts ensure a legacy for the deceased that extends far into the future.

Any type of gift can be designated as a memorial gift. For obituary announcements, we suggest the following language, which can be tailored to your needs.

Memorial contributions may be made through KHDS. Please direct your contributions to KHDS Legacy Fund in memory of (the name of your friend or loved one).

Electronic Gifts

Gifts can be wired directly from your bank account to KHDS. To make a wire transfer, please contact our Director of Operations & Advancement Dustin Beth via the form below. We're happy to help you through this generous process.

Gifts of Stocks, Bonds, Equities

To donate stock, bonds, or mutual fund shares to KHDS, please authorize your broker to transfer your shares. To avoid capital gains taxes, do not sell the stock yourself or have your broker sell it. Transfer shares intact to KHDS.

For tax purposes, the value of your stock gift (certificates or electronic transfer) is determined by the average of the high and low on the day of the transfer.
